Rejuvapen Microneedling Cleveland

MicroneedlingMicroneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic rejuvenation procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the top layer of the skin with tiny sterile needles.  The needles create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds, or “micro-injuries” in the top layer of the skin.  These controlled micro-injuries caused by the Rejuvapen, trigger the body’s natural wound healing process to create new collagen and elastin and promote increased cellular turnover.

Microneedling helps to minimize the signs of aging, improves the appearance of scars and rejuvenates aging skin.  The results of Microneedling are very natural because it uses the body’s own natural healing mechanisms, triggering the generation of new skin cells.  Results include improved texture and firmness of skin, reduction of scars, pore size, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles and crow’s feet, leaving the skin with an allover youthful appearance.

Unlike Resurfacing lasers, there is minimal downtime as a result of microneedling. In addition, cost for microneedling is significantly less than laser treatments

Microneedling is effective in treating a wide variety of skin issues, including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enlarged pores
  • Loose skin
  • Sun Damage
  • Scars from chickenpox/acne
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Hair Loss

For optimal results, it is recommended to schedule a series of microneedling treatments which are normally scheduled four weeks apart.  This will be determined during your consultation with our licensed medical esthetician.
