Dermaplaning is a highly effective physical exfoliation procedure that safely scrapes the top layer of skin. This method of exfoliating the skin requires the use of a sterile surgical blade to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells along with the fine vellus hair (aka peach fuzz) to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

The dead skin cells on top of our skin create a barrier, blocking our skin care products from penetrating as deep as they could and the small vellus hairs, can cause caking in our makeup. Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin cells, as well as that annoying peach fuzz, leaving the surface of the skin very smooth and allowing for greater penetration of skincare products, and creating a flawless canvass for makeup application.
